That's a Wrap on Blueberry Season!

Blueberry season has officially wrapped up here at the farm. We had an amazing few weeks, and it was so fun seeing so many of you out in the fields. Some of you picked serious pounds, we were impressed!

If you stocked up, now’s the time to freeze those extras. Blueberries freeze beautifully and are perfect for tossing into smoothies, baking into muffins or pies, or sprinkling on yogurt or oatmeal.

Looking for a simple way to enjoy your berries? Try this easy blueberry crumble:

Toss about 4 cups of fresh blueberries with a teaspoon of lemon juice, ¼ cup of sugar, and a tablespoon of flour. Pour into a baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup oats, ¾ cup flour, ½ cup brown sugar, and ½ cup of butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the berries and bake at 350°F for about 35–40 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Thanks for making it such a great season. We’ll be dreaming of blueberries until next summer!
