Foods grown at the farm: tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, green & sweet peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, green beans, sweet potatoes, lettuce and salad mixes, basil, kale, chard, spinach, winter squashes, strawberries, ginger, turmeric, blueberries, peaches and more!

Foods we source locally: Potatoes, onions, garlic, summer squash, sweet corn, beets, carrots, leeks, scallions, herbs plus more!

While the farm is not certified organic, the farm follows organic practices and does not use synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.

 One who eats foods grown / sourced locally whenever possible.

The Locavore Program consists of customers who prepay for a debit-style CSA (community supported agriculture) to commit to buying locally and sustainably sourced products from the Market & Cafe at Emery Farm. This debit style credit can be used for anything full priced in our Market & Cafe. All memberships include 10% bonus credit and first looks at offerings, events, and more. 

LocaBerry is Emery Farm’s resident in-house farmer. Jameson and Sarah, farmers and owners of LocaBerry, are now farming on land here at the historic Emery Farm property. They bring unique fruit and veggie CSA subscriptions to the Locavore offerings.  

Locavore and LocaBerry memberships are to be purchased separately. Locavore memberships can be registered via "Reserve Now" green button above. 

LocaBerry memberships are available on LocaBerry's own  website.

No memberships will be valid if the payment is not received by March 31st. 

Locavore Memberships can be paid via check, cash, or card.

Checks can be dropped off in person or mailed to 147 Piscataqua Road Durham NH 03824 and must be made payable to “Market & Cafe at Emery Farm.” Cash can be dropped off at any time in-store. There is a mandatory 3% processing fee tacked onto each card payment to cover our card processing cost. 

LocaBerry Memberships can be paid directly through their website.

Once payment is received, our management team will process your Locavore card. On or after April 30th you will be able to pick up your card and use it anytime between 4/30/25 & 12/24/25. We will send out an email reminding Locavore members that your card is be ready for pick-up. 

If you purchased a LocaBerry membership you will receive an email from Farmer Jameson with more details on pick up dates and next steps.

February: Loca memberships announced

March 31st: Payment deadline

April 30th: Locavore membership starts, members can pick up their cards and begin to use them.

Late June- Early September:  LocaBerry season starts for PYO & CSA Pick-ups. LocaBerry will be in contact regarding scheduling pick ups and PYO times/seasons.

December 24th: Locavore membership ends and any remaining balance expires.

EF staff have Locavore account numbers on file in store, in case you ever forget your Locavore Card at home so you are able to still pay for your goods with your active Locavore Membership throughout the season.
